New Police in China!

In a country which has a population of 1.4 billion, it is humanly impossible task to keep a list of photographs of all criminals and use it in real time to catch them and hence it enables many criminals to travel undetected and therefore they are never caught. However now the Chinese police have found a novel solution to mitigate this problem. In february this year the police in the capital city of Beijing have started using Facial Recognition glasses equipped with Augmented Reality and are connected with database of criminals through internet. These glasses are also equipped with camera. It is very easy for policeman to use them, they just have to only look towards people and the glasses Will display all the information about the person of interest.These glasses just need a few seconds to give the verdict. The Beijing pólice used this glasses only just for last month at highway toll points and managed to arrest 7 criminals, and now the government has decided to distribute these glasses to other cities´ police department.

These glasses have been developed by a chinese startup called LLVision. According to this company, they have received very good comments from the government towards their product, mentioning that it is more instantaneous and precise compared to facial recognition system that uses the huge network of cameras installed throughout the country.
